A home from home

 

Bradbury House was built to provide a highly professional care service for the elderly, with an emphasis on reducing loneliness and isolation amongst older people, while enabling and encouraging individuals to retain their dignity and independence. It is part of the Abbeyfield Society, a national charity caring for the elderly.

All those involved with Bradbury House are aware that it is the Home of the residents and that they should be able to make it a 'home from home'. We have, therefore, set out to provide them with a happy family atmosphere in spacious and well-equipped surroundings full of opportunities for an enriched life.

It is the aim of the Care team to take into account each individual's needs, so that they can feel relaxed, comfortable and free from unnecessary worries. At the same time we want them to be as active as they are able, both physically and mentally, so that they are happy and fulfilled in their daily lives.

Bradbury House also has facilities to allow members of the South Buckinghamshire community to be cared for during the day with all the same care as for our residents.
