Get Involved
Bradbury House is operated by a charity called The Abbeyfield Beaconsfield Society which has Provident Industrial Society status. If you would like to know more about the Society click here. Like all charities we do need a huge amount of help in many differing ways to function.
The Society does employ staff, around 57 full and part-time, and all personal care is carried out by qualified care staff. However, residents' experience can be greatly enhanced by the additional input from volunteers.
Yes, our residents and day care clients do pay for the care that they receive. What sets us apart from others is that we involve the community in our organisation. We want the community to be part of the life of those who have chosen to live at Bradbury House.
The involvement can take many differing forms which can involve time or talents or money, or a combination of those. Some volunteers will have free time but are not sure how to use it, others will have specific skills that can be used to help the residents and staff, and others might have a desire to help by some form of financial giving. We need all the
help that we can get and if you want to know more then please click on one of the links below.
